CLARKSVILLE, Tenn. — Police say a semi flat-bed truck hauling beehives has crashed, causing eastbound Interstate 24 to close near the Kentucky-Tennessee state line at Clarksville, Tennessee.
Clarksville police Sgt. Charles Gill told WSMV-TV (http://bit.ly/1kb31uJ ) the multiple-vehicle crash Tuesday disturbed the beehives, leaving bees flying all around the scene. He said officers at the scene were stung multiple times.
At least three people were injured in the crash.
